Today is a unique day….one that will never be again, not in
the exact same way as it is today. Do you look up at the sky, seeing the offering
of cloud formations in all sizes and shapes, constantly shifting and
moving? Do you look into people’s faces
and become captivated by their beauty and the stories that their eyes tell? Do you sit in awe of the array of colors and
dimensions available for you to capture within your surroundings? Do you take the time to revel in the
magnificence of your body to respond to your requests? Do you take the time to delight in the idea
that you opened your eyes today? Do you drink
water, amazed at the idea that it is clean and drinkable and enjoy the
refreshment that it offers? Do you savor
the foods that nourish and replenish your body?
Do you breathe deeply, filling your lungs with fresh air? Are you amazed at the technology available to
us in any moment? Do you hold your child’s
hand, or offer words of praise and encouragement? Do you feel emotions flowing through you, and
feel alive? Today offers so many reasons
to appreciate. This day, right now, is
special. There’s no other day that’s
ever been like it before, and no other day that will be just as this day is again. Open
your heart and allow the wonders of this day to fill your senses and to fill
your emotions and to fill you with appreciation for all that this day has to
offer.
Whatever comes to mind as a result of what I'm living. It's about anything and everything. I write about life through the eyes of our daughter's perspective (what I perceive it might be) and I write about what I think about and the realizations I get and the conclusions I draw as a result of my own life experience....all for freedom of expression and for the fun of it.
